刘进，艾莉丝·本戴维-哈德著的《一带一路高等教育研究（2017学生流动）（英文版）》首次从“一带一路”和“学术劳动力市场”的视角开展高等教育相关研究工作。研究基于“一带一路”国际课题组的长期研究努力，同时，也基于对对中国样本的大数据分析。研究对西方学术劳动力市场的相关理论也进行了分析、介绍与批判创新。
