由中国社科院国家全球战略智库与澳大利亚格里菲斯亚洲研究所、福州大学联合举办的“中澳合作论坛：亚洲－太平洋地区发展与合作国际研讨会”邀请了来自新西兰、澳大利亚、斐济、瓦努阿图、新加坡、菲律宾、越南、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚等国家的学者、官员和工商界人士，就中澳合作事宜展开研讨。王灵桂、赵江林主编的《亚太地区发展与合作(中外联合研究报告)(英文版)》即在此基础上完善而成，从亚太地区合作的动力与前景，中国与大洋洲关系面临的新挑战与新机遇，亚太地区合作与“一带一路”建设三个方面展开深入讨论。
