根据目前大多数高职高专学校英语课程开设的实际情况，《大学实用英语视听说教程》共设计编写三册。本书为第三册，书中按照其中的一般涉外活动和一般涉外业务活动的要求来设计场景，并适量安排一些抽象性内容的描述或表达，以进一步提高学习者的语言运用能力。
