王慧莉编著的《MPA英语教程》第一部分的体例主要为:(1)阅读(包括一篇或两篇文章,练习以培养英语实际运用能力为主,练习形式包括简答题、段落完型填空、回译等);(2)听力(包括一至两段/篇对话或短文,并附有简单练习);(3)口语(力求编写形式多样,尽可能给学生提供练习口语的图文并茂的素材,练习形式包括小组讨论、个人发言等);(4)写作(结合成人特点,设计场景,力求使题目和体裁贴近学生的实际生活和工作)。第二部分主要围绕一篇经典文章或案例,对文章出现的主要单词进行注释,并用汉语给出文章的主要内容。
