《大学英语快速阅读1》是应用型本科院校规划教材之一，是哈尔滨德强商务学院外语系英语专业精品建设课程《综合英语》课的成果之一。全书是根据教育部于2007年7月颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》，结合应用型本科院校学生的实际情况，参照英语快速阅读自身的特点编写而成。书中内容有三大部分：绪论(快速阅读的方法和技巧)、快速阅读文章和练习题答案。快速阅读文章分10章，每章由5篇同一话题的快速阅读文章组成。

黄晶伟和董志友主编的《大学英语快速阅读(1)》是为应用型本科院校学生编写的英语快速阅读教材。教材中首先指出了学生在英语快速阅读中的一些不良习惯，介绍了常见的英语快速阅读方法。每章围绕一个话题组织5篇阅读文章，并配以相应的阅读理解问题；书后给出了阅读理解问题的参考答案。本书既适合课堂教学，又可供学生课外独自训练。
