《中国少数民族文化英语阅读》是专门针对我国民族高校学生所编写的大学英语课程辅助教材，可供我国高等学校，尤其是民族高校，大学英语教学课内或课外使用。全书共分10个单元。全书首先以56个民族一个大家庭为主线，主要概述中国56个民族及55个少数民族整体情况，进而介绍了“马背上的民族”蒙古族文化，其中包括历史上“天下无敌的成吉思汗”和蒙古族人一年一度的盛大节日“那达慕大会”等内容。
