This book features 345 designs chosen by a rigorous selection procedure from the 1,110 designs submitted from all over Japan for the Japan Package Design Association's "Japan Package Design Grand Prix 2007." For the package design creators, the Prize represents a special and significant challenge. As a result, this book contains a broad range of packages designed from 2004 through 2006. We are confident that this book contains the very best of package design in Japan, in particular the designs that won the Grand Prix, Golden and Silver Award, Special Judge's Award as well as the awardwinners in the newly established Category Award.
