《文物建筑（第17辑）》共收集文章19篇，其中文物建筑研究9篇，文化遗产保护5篇，建筑考古5篇。文物建筑研究栏目的文章涵盖了世界文化遗产北京故宫北上门建筑遗存、全国重点文物保护单位山西华严寺、河南洛阳关林、云南昆明民居调查等研究内容，本辑特邀上海大学上海美术学院副教授宾慧中关于古建筑保护的文章，此外还有河南地方建筑类型研究等，作者均为古建筑研究领域的知名专家和学者。文物遗产保护栏目特邀请苏州科技大学建筑与城市规划学院教授徐永利关于泰州南水门遗址的保护与展示模式的研究，还有故宫交泰殿彩画工艺研究和故宫烫样数字化研究等。建筑考古栏目则采用了2020年全国十大考古发现的时庄遗址建筑复原研究文章等。
