本教材是全国高等卫生职业教育创新型人才培养“十三五”规划教材。
本教材的编写以中医美容理论知识和传统文化为基石，以中医美容从业人员在不同的工作环境和不同的工作主题下的美容实践作为主要内容。本教材分为四大部分：第一部分为中医美容的基本知识，第二部分为美容英语会话，第三部分为中医美容英语会话，第四部分为附录。
