英语写作一直是中国学生的弱项，也是英语教学中的薄弱环节。中国学生往往忽视中英文语言差异和思维差异，导致中国学生英语写作统一和连贯差、逻辑性不强、结构不清晰等问题。本书结合笔者写作教学十余年的经验，并参考国内外英语写作书籍等资料，旨在帮办英语写作学习者如何克服上述写作问题，帮助学生进行有效英语写作。

陈家晃，四川民族学院外国语学院副教授，硕士。长期从事英语写作与英汉翻译教学和科研工作。主持完成四川省教育厅人文社科项目3项，主持完成国家民委教改项目1项，参研国家社科基金项目1项、四川省社科规划项目1项，以及四川省教育厅科研项目多项，在《上海翻译》《山东外语教学》《民族翻译》等刊物上发表论文40余篇。
