沈传亮，山东人，中共中央党校党史教研部教授，法学博士，政治学博士后，主要从事中共党史、改革开放史、党的决策理论与实践研究。出版《中国共产党决策体制的历史演进》《公务员群体的政治文化研究》《向邓小平学习》等6部著作，参编参著《中国共产党为什么能？》等20多部图书，其中《中国共产党为什么能？》一书入选中宣部中组部向全国党员推荐阅读书目，发行100多万册。参与中央委托的重大课题、国家重点课题多项，现主持2015年度国家社科基金重点项目“中国共产党决策思想史研究（1949—2012）”。目前是马克思主义理论研究和建设工程专家组主要成员、中央党校中国特色社会主义理论体系研究中心特约研究员。
