《国际人才英语教程》以国家对于国际人才的需求为指导，以人才核心能力培养为目标，以“产出导向”教学法和“体验式学习”理念为教材设计理念，结合普通本科高校的教学实际而编写，为院校人才培养提供支持，为教师和学生提供优质教学资源。
《国际人才英语教程》包含三个级别——初级、中级、高级，难度与“国才考试”各级别相对应。教材各级设定为不同的职场情境，每级包含四个职场任务，共分八个单元，每两个单元完成一个职场任务。教材同时提供教师用书、助教课件、数字课程等资源，打造线上线下立体化的学习及教学环境。
本书是其中的中级分册，由宋薇、秦丽莉、姜慧玲主编。
